Something old, something new . . .

No trip to the west country would be complete without the obligatory visit to Stonehenge. The place has changed dramatically since my last visit, now with an impressive new visitor centre and a smart new cafe in place of the previous catering facilities (shed) which, you would be forgiven for thinking, might well have been built at around the same time as the henge itself. Gone are the slightly nasty portaloo toilets and gone too is the intrusive road that used to cut through the monument between the henge and the heel stone. Magical and inspiring as always . . . and makes me think about writing another album in the old Runestone style?
